What does an AMG GT wrap cost?
It’s quoted per car, since a GT job can be a pair of stripes or every painted panel. The price follows the area covered, the film and finish, and how much has to come off or be worked around for clean edges.
| Work on an AMG GT | Coverage | Days in the shop | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Full colour change | All painted bodywork, plus jambs if you want them | 3 to 5 | Quoted per vehicle |
| Stripes or livery | A stripe set over the hood, roof and rear, or a custom design | Same day to 2 | Quoted per vehicle |
| Accent pieces | Mirror caps, the roof, or the spoiler in a contrast colour | Same day to 2 | Quoted per vehicle |
Every quote covers 3M or Avery Dennison cast vinyl applied by hand, a check of the paint before work begins, and the vinyl’s manufacturer warranty, five years under the shop’s published terms.
Stripes, full colour or accents on an AMG GT?
Mercedes has done stripes on this car itself. Mercedes-Benz USA says GT 63 models “offer bold new body striping”, and the first-generation GT R PRO came with edition stripes in light green on Selenite Grey Magno cars or matte dark grey on other colours, which buyers could leave off, per the 2020 AMG GT guide.
Vinyl stripes put that look on any GT, in the colours and layout you choose, and come off cleanly with heat later. The shop’s own 370Z wears a green and black livery in vinyl, the same kind of work explained on vinyl livery and graphics. A full colour change goes further: every painted panel changes, while the factory paint stays under the film.
Which AMG GT surfaces make a wrap harder?
The moving and breathing parts. Mercedes’s 2023 launch release describes the current GT’s flowing sides “without beads or edges, right down to the flush-mounted door handles”. The same release lists an active rear spoiler integrated into the trunk lid and AIRPANEL louvres behind the front intakes.
- Rear spoiler: Canada’s GT page has it rising from flush through five positions, so the film around it is planned for a part that moves.
- Door handles: they sit flush in the door skin. Like badges and mirror caps, handles come off where they can so the vinyl wraps the whole edge.
- Carbon parts: styling options add gloss black, chrome or carbon fibre pieces, according to Mercedes-Benz USA. Decide whether carbon stays bare or gets covered.
Is a matte wrap a fair alternative to Magno paint on a GT?
It’s a sound route if you want matte on a GT that was built gloss. Factory matte is ordered with the car: Mercedes-Benz USA lists more than 70 GT paints with matte colours among them, and the 2025 model line updates added MANUFAKTUR Signature Cirrus Silver Magno. Vinyl adds a matte, satin or colour-shift finish after the fact, and it can come off before you sell.
Mind the warranty difference between panels. For 3M 2080, Canada sits in 3M’s Zone 2, and the 2080 warranty card sets that zone at 7 years for upright surfaces and 2 for flat ones. The GT’s long hood and roof count as flat. To compare a matte wrap with matte protection film, see matte PPF vs matte wrap.
How do you book an AMG GT wrap in Langley?
Give the year and model, the colour or design, and whether you want jambs, stripes or the spoiler done. Photos help too: the paint is checked before any vinyl goes on, and a resprayed panel may lift when the film eventually comes off.
Afterwards, wash by hand or touchless, skip brush washes, and keep pressure nozzles away from vinyl edges. Keep the invoice naming the film and colour: ICBC counts a wrap as additional vehicle equipment. Ask through the AMG GT wrap quote form or call 604 534 6433.
