What does PPF cost on a Mercedes-AMG GT?
From $850 for a Partial Front to $4,000 for the whole car, in LLumar Platinum. Those are starting prices; a GT with the Aerodynamics Package or a lot of exposed carbon has more edges and cut-outs, and the quote reflects that.
| Package | What it covers on an AMG GT | From | Time |
|---|---|---|---|
| Partial Front | Front fascia, the leading part of the long hood and fenders, headlights and mirror caps | $850 | Usually one day |
| Full Front | The whole hood with its power domes, both front fenders, the fascia, headlights, mirrors | $1,550 | 1 to 2 days |
| Track Package | Full Front plus A-pillars, the front of the roof and the rockers | $1,900 | 1 to 2 days |
| Full Vehicle | All painted surfaces and the headlights | $4,000 | 3 to 5 days |
Software cuts each GT template, and film edges are tucked around panels where the shape allows; if the fascia needs a relief cut, its spot is pointed out before the cut is made. LLumar’s warranty on Platinum is a 10-year manufacturer’s limited warranty; yellowing, cracking, bubbling and peeling are the faults the shop’s published terms name. Before film, the paint is decontaminated and corrected if it needs it.
Which parts of an AMG GT’s nose move or breathe?
Several. Mercedes’s 2023 launch release for the second-generation GT describes a two-piece active AIRPANEL system: vertical louvres hidden behind the lower air intake and horizontal ones behind the upper intake, closed most of the time and opened when the cooling demand is high. A carbon profile under the front lowers by about 1.6 inches at 50 mph to pull the car down.
Film goes on the painted fascia around those openings, not on the louvres behind them. The optional Aerodynamics Package adds air deflectors on the outer intakes and the wheel arches, a larger diffuser and a fixed rear wing, and on the GT 63 PRO, Mercedes’s 2024 PRO release adds carbon air deflectors around enlarged side intakes and radiators in both front wheel arches. Each of those changes the outline of the fascia film, so name the package when you ask for a price.
Where do carbon and paint meet on a GT?
Low down and at the back, especially on the PRO. The GT 63 PRO comes with the AMG Exterior Carbon Fiber Package as standard, which Mercedes says includes a carbon front splitter, side sill trims, rear diffuser and rear wing. Mercedes-Benz USA also lists styling options with gloss black, chrome, carbon fibre and aero elements across the range.
On a GT with carbon sill trims, the Track Package quote separates the painted rocker area from the carbon, and covering the carbon itself is a separate conversation. First-generation cars vary too: the 2020 AMG GT quick reference guide lists carbon fibre front fenders on the GT R. The Track Package page shows what that tier adds.
Gloss or matte film for an AMG GT?
Pick the film to match the finish. The GT’s paint menu on Mercedes-Benz USA’s site runs past 70 choices, roughly 50 of them MANUFAKTUR Exclusive, and matte colours are part of it. Named Magno (matte) paints include Cirrus Silver Magno, added for 2025 in the 2025 model line updates, and Green Hell Magno, which the 2026 GT 63 PRO guide reserves for the PRO.
LLumar Platinum Matte keeps a Magno finish flat; Platinum Gloss suits metallic and solid paint. On gloss paint, the matte film gives a satin look, which some owners pick deliberately. PPF on matte paint explains the rest.
How do you book AMG GT PPF in Langley?
Send the year, the model, the paint name, and whether the car has the Aerodynamics Package, carbon parts or the rear seats. Mention the active rear spoiler: Mercedes-Benz Canada says it rises from flush to five positions depending on speed and drive mode, so a Full Vehicle quote should say how the trunk lid around it is handled.
After pickup, give the GT a week before the first wash, then hand or touchless only, with the pressure wand off the film edges. Window film can go in the same visit, priced on AMG GT window tint. Use the AMG GT PPF quote form or call 604 534 6433.
