Porsche Cayenne Ceramic Coating in Langley, BC

At a glance

Brookswood Tint offers a Porsche Cayenne three graphene-ceramic packages, Essential, Performance and Signature, and prices the work per vehicle once the paint has been measured. What sets a Cayenne apart is its mix of finishes: Porsche sells it in a dozen or more standard colours plus Paint to Sample, and versions such as the GTS, Turbo GT and Cayenne Electric add high-gloss black, matt black or Volcanic Grey Metallic trim that is treated apart from the paint.

How is a Cayenne ceramic coating priced?

Per vehicle, after the paint has been measured, because most of the cost is the correction underneath. The coating comes in three packages that differ in layers, preparation and the surfaces they cover.

Package Layers and preparation Surfaces
Essential One graphene-ceramic layer Paint
Performance Two layers over a two-stage correction Paint, glass, wheel faces
Signature Four layers over full correction Paint, PPF, wheels, glass, trim

An enhancement polish takes about a day; two-stage correction takes one or two days; multi-stage restoration takes three or more and is quoted after inspection; paint correction explains each stage. Extras on any package: wheels and calipers, glass, and interior leather and fabric.

Which paint colours does Porsche offer on the Cayenne?

More than most SUVs, and the shop measures and inspects every one before polishing. Porsche’s 2023 press kit gives the updated combustion and hybrid Cayenne 12 body colours, three of them new: Algarve Blue Metallic, Montego Blue Metallic and Arctic Grey. Paint to Sample adds “particularly popular shades from Porsche history”.

The Cayenne Electric press kit lists 13 standard colours, debuting Mystic Green Metallic, Monteverde Metallic and Napali Blue Metallic, and counts “more than 100 shades” once Paint to Sample is added. With that many paints, and used Cayennes whose paint history you may not know, the thickness reading decides how far correction can go.

How are the Cayenne’s black, grey and carbon parts treated?

Separately from the gloss paint. Porsche finishes a lot of Cayenne trim in something other than body colour, and each finish gets its own handling before the coating goes on.

Version Parts Porsche names Finish to flag at drop-off
GTS, updated in 2024 SportDesign trim, from the skirts and front inserts to the window trims, diffuser and arch extensions, all High-Gloss Black Gloss black
Turbo GT Front end, rear apron, wheel arches and rear logos in matt Black; carbon roof, diffuser trim and spoiler sideplates Matt, not machine-polished; exposed carbon
Cayenne Electric Side skirts and wheel arch trims in Volcanic Grey Metallic Metallic, handled like the body panels
Cayenne Turbo Electric The same parts in high-gloss black, plus Turbonite accents Gloss black and Turbonite
Off-Road package (Electric) Aprons, side skirts and arch extensions in matte black Matte, not machine-polished

The GTS details come from Porsche’s GTS press kit, which says these parts were partly body-coloured on earlier GTS models. Only Signature lists trim among its surfaces, so on Essential or Performance, name the parts you want included. How a coating behaves on flat finishes is covered in ceramic coating for matte paint.

Do wheels and glass need coating on a Cayenne?

They’re optional; the shop’s wheel and caliper coating is there to keep brake dust from bonding. The combustion Cayenne rides on 20-inch wheels as standard, with 12 designs from 20 to 22 inches, and the 2023 kit mentions aerodynamically optimised designs for the first time.

Some versions come with a painted finish on the wheels: the GTS gets 21-inch RS Spyder Design wheels in Anthracite Grey, and the Turbo GT’s 22-inch GT Design wheels are painted Neodyme. Performance takes in the wheel faces and Signature the full wheels. Glass coating, which the shop says helps visibility in the wet, is part of Performance and Signature; if you plan to tint as well, Cayenne window tint explains what goes where.

How do you book a Cayenne ceramic coating in Langley?

Send the model year, the version, the paint name from the build sheet and some daylight photos of the hood and sides. Mention any film already on the SUV and which trim parts are black, grey or carbon.

The SUV is in the bay for one to three days, mostly for correction and curing, and water should stay off it for its first 24 hours home. If you want film on the nose as well, the order is film first, then coating over film and paint together; coating over PPF explains why, and Cayenne PPF has the film packages. Questions about porsche Cayenne ceramic coating

01Can a coating go on the Turbo GT's matt black front end?

It can be coated, but it isn't machine-polished, because polishing would put a shine into a matt surface. Point out every matt part when you drop the car off.

02Does a Paint to Sample Cayenne cost more to coat?

The colour itself doesn't set the price; the paint's condition and the correction it needs do. Give the shop the colour name anyway, since the paint is measured and inspected before any polishing.

03Should I coat a brand-new Cayenne straight from the dealer?

It's inspected first either way, since new paint can pick up marks before it reaches you. How much polishing it needs depends on what that inspection finds.

04Does the Volcanic Grey trim on a Cayenne Electric need anything special?

Porsche finishes those side skirts and arch trims in a metallic colour, so they're handled like the body panels around them: inspected, corrected if needed and coated in the same visit.
