Which Escalade trims have the most chrome?
The Escalade, Luxury and Platinum Luxury. Cadillac Canada’s 2026 comparison splits the lineup cleanly into bright trims and black ones:
| 2026 trim | Bright pieces listed as standard | Already black or body colour |
|---|---|---|
| Escalade | Galvano Chrome bodyside mouldings, bright roof rails, door handles with chrome strip, “Exterior Bright Galvano accents” | |
| Luxury | Galvano Chrome bodyside mouldings, bright roof rails, door handles with chrome strip | |
| Platinum Luxury | The same, with a Luxury grille whose crest and surround light up | |
| Sport | Gloss black bodyside mouldings and roof rails, body-colour handles, gloss black accents | |
| Platinum Sport | As the Sport | |
| V-Series | As the Sport, with its own grille and fascias |
Most trims also list a dual-outlet exhaust with bright tips integrated into the fascia; Cadillac describes a black quad exhaust on the V-Series instead. For 2027, Cadillac Canada’s 2027 comparison drops the base Escalade and keeps the same split: Galvano Chrome mouldings and bright rails on the Luxury and Platinum Luxury, gloss black on the Sport, Platinum Sport and V-Series.
What do Cadillac’s own packages change?
Some trims arrive partly blacked out, and one package adds brightwork instead. The Onyx Package, offered on the Sport, Platinum Sport and V-Series, brings a gloss black Escalade nameplate on the liftgate, monochrome Cadillac emblems and 22-inch gloss black wheels.
The Radiant Package goes the other way on the Luxury and Platinum Luxury: a bright Sport mesh grille with a Galvano surround and chrome or bright wheels, paired with a black illuminated Cadillac emblem. Black exhaust tips are a separate option on the Escalade, Luxury and Platinum Luxury. Knowing which of these your SUV has tells you what’s left to wrap.
Which Escalade pieces can be wrapped in vinyl?
Any bright trim panel you pick can be skinned in black cast vinyl, leaving the Galvano or chrome underneath untouched. The pieces to look at on an Escalade:
- Bodyside mouldings: the Galvano Chrome strips along the doors.
- Roof rails: the bright roof-mounted side rails; Cadillac’s optional cross rails are already black.
- Door handle strips: the chrome strip across each body-colour handle. Every handle also has an LED accent light, worth pointing out at the quote.
- Grille trim and badges: the grille surround, a Radiant Package mesh grille, the liftgate nameplate and the emblems. The grille chrome delete page and the badge delete page explain how those are quoted.
The exhaust tips aren’t a trim panel. If you want them dark, Cadillac’s factory black tips are the route to ask your dealer about.
Gloss or satin black on an Escalade?
Match the black the SUV already wears. Cadillac uses gloss black itself on the Sport’s mouldings, rails and accents, and on the Onyx Package nameplate, so gloss is the closest match to a factory Sport.
Satin reads quieter and suits wheels with a low-sheen finish, such as the Satin Graphite wheels on the V-Series. Hold a sample of each against the Escalade outdoors and choose there, not from a screen.
How is an Escalade chrome delete priced?
Chrome delete has no posted price, since an Escalade Luxury and an Escalade Sport have very different amounts of brightwork. Use the Escalade chrome delete quote form to send the year and trim, the paint colour, the finish you want and a few photos showing the mouldings, rails and grille, or text them to 604 534 6433.
Both vinyl brands, 3M and Avery Dennison, are cast films, and the shop lists a 5-year manufacturer warranty on that vinyl in its published terms. Planning to sell, or to hand the Escalade back at the end of a lease? Read how reversible a chrome delete is before deciding.
