How much does PPF cost on an Escalade?

Four LLumar Platinum packages, priced from $850, $1,550, $1,900 and $4,000, and a body this size can price higher than those floors. Cadillac Canada lists the Escalade at 5,383 mm long and the ESV at 5,765 mm, so there’s a lot of panel to cover once you go past the nose.

Package From Covers On an Escalade
Partial Front $850 Full bumper, partial hood and fenders, headlights, mirrors The front fascia, the hood’s leading edge, the headlamps
Full Front $1,550 Full hood, fenders and bumper, headlights, mirrors The whole hood and both fenders, including where they meet the fascia
Track Package $1,900 Full Front plus partial roof, A-pillars, rocker panels Adds the windshield pillars and the long sills along all four doors
Full Vehicle $4,000 All painted surfaces, headlights Every panel, liftgate and rear fascia included

The film’s top coat recovers from light swirl marks when warmed, in gloss or matte. LLumar’s limited warranty runs 10 years; in the shop’s published terms, the covered defects are yellowing, cracking, bubbling and peeling. Size, the shape of each fascia and how much correction the paint needs set the final price.

Where does an Escalade’s paint chip first?

At the front corners, on at least one model year. GM’s service bulletin 21-NA-050 covers 2021 Escalades with “paint chipping or peeling on the front fascia at interface of front fender and fascia near headlamp,” most often at the rear upper corners of the fascia on one or both sides. GM traces it to a fascia guide bracket stiffness issue and fixes it by removing the fascia, sanding the area smooth and refinishing it.

Look closely there before you book, on a 2021 above all. Film goes on after any repair, never over chipped paint. For 2025, GM engineering asked U.S. dealers in PIE0823 to report “lower fascia and/or lower grille tabs not engaged and/or warped”, so check that the lower edge sits flush as well. Whether PPF hides existing rock chips explains what film can and can’t cover up.

What’s built into the Escalade’s front fascia?

Active shutters, and on most trims the option of a Night Vision system. The 2026 Escalade comparison lists upper active aero shutters in the front fascia on every trim, closing at speed and reopening when the engine needs cooling. Night Vision, which shows a thermal image of what’s beyond the headlamps, is available on every trim except the base Escalade, though Cadillac notes that some vehicles built from June 2026 won’t have it.

The grille varies too: a Luxury grille with an illuminated Cadillac crest on the base Escalade, an illuminated surround on the Platinum Luxury, and on the V-Series a Sport grille with what Cadillac calls “unique front and rear fascias.” Tell the shop your exact trim, because the film pattern follows that fascia.

Is the Track Package worth it on an Escalade?

For an Escalade that does long highway runs, it’s the package that reaches the sills. The base 2026 Escalade has black assist steps running wheel well to wheel well, while every other trim has power-retractable steps that “automatically retract when not in use”, so on those trims the lower doors and sills are exposed whenever you’re moving.

Cadillac even provides a running board mode that deploys the steps for car wash cleaning. The rocker panel PPF page shows what that section covers.

Booking Escalade PPF in Langley

For a price, the shop needs the model year, the trim, Escalade or ESV, the paint colour and your package. The Escalade PPF quote form takes all of that, or text it to 604 534 6433. Before film, the paint is decontaminated, its thickness checked, and corrected only where it needs it.

Partial Front is a one-day booking. Full Front and Track take a day or two, Full Vehicle three to five days, and a 2021 whose fascia corners need refinishing will need that done before any of it. Skip washing for the first week; after that, wash by hand or touchless, holding the wand well back from film edges. The Escalade window tint page has glass prices if you’d like both done at once.

Questions about escalade PPF

01My new Escalade has milky patches after the dealer peeled the shipping film. Can PPF go over them?

Wait for them to clear first. GM's bulletin 05-08-51-001L says condensation under the shipping film causes them; they affect metallic paint, silver especially, and fade in direct sunlight, usually within two to three hours and in bad cases up to three days. GM says not to polish or respray them.

02Can PPF fix the paint chipping at the fascia corners?

No. GM's fix for that 2021 issue is to remove the fascia, sand the area and refinish it. Film protects paint that's sound; it goes on after the repair.

03Does matte PPF suit an Escalade?

It can. LLumar Platinum Matte turns gloss paint satin, which looks deliberate on the whole body and patchy on the nose alone. If you want satin, price it as Full Vehicle.
