How much bright trim does a 2026 Bronco have?
Not much. Ford finishes most of the Bronco’s grilles and trim in black, grey or white, so there’s little true chrome to cover. What stands out instead is the lettering and, on one trim, the wheels. Ford Canada’s 2026 model lineup lists:
| 2026 trim | Grille or front detail as Ford lists it | Other finishes that catch the eye |
|---|---|---|
| Outer Banks | Black, moulded in colour, white BRONCO lettering | 18-inch bright machined-face wheels |
| Badlands | Carbonized Grey-painted, white BRONCO lettering | Carbonized Grey-painted machined wheels |
| Heritage Edition | Oxford White, matching the hard top | 17-inch white wheels, Heritage bodyside graphics |
| Stroppe Edition | Frozen White-painted, Code Orange BRONCO lettering | Matte Black-painted wheels with gloss black trim ring |
| Raptor | Carbonized Grey-painted marker lamps with black FORD lettering | Ford Performance heavy-duty modular bumper |
So on a Bronco, “chrome delete” mostly means blacking out the lettering and badges, or turning a white grille black. The badge chrome delete page covers how emblems are handled.
What would a delete cover on your Bronco?
The pieces you want black, chosen from what your trim actually has. Typical requests fall into three groups:
- Grille lettering. The raised BRONCO letters, white on most trims and Code Orange on the Stroppe. Grille blackouts explains how a grille is wrapped.
- Badges. Model and trim emblems on the body and tailgate.
- Painted accents. A white Heritage or Stroppe grille turned black, for a darker look than Ford sells on those editions.
Wheels sit outside what the shop’s chrome delete service lists (grilles, trim, badges, window surrounds, door handles, mirror caps, roof rails), so the bright machined faces on an Outer Banks are a separate conversation. The front fender trail sights are bolt-on parts; Ford’s SSM 51118 lists their fasteners for service, so ask whether yours can come off for wrapping.
How is a Bronco chrome delete priced?
Per truck, by the number of pieces and how complex they are. Lettering alone is a small job; a full white-to-black grille on a Heritage is a bigger one.
Cast film from 3M or Avery Dennison does the work, in gloss black or satin black. The shop’s terms put a 5-year warranty on that vinyl. Badges come off the truck where they can, letting the vinyl turn around each one’s edges. Ford also lists Free Wheeling and Black Appearance Packages for the Big Bend; check what Ford’s package includes for your year before choosing, bearing in mind that vinyl can come off again and a factory part can’t. For removal down the road, read whether a chrome delete is reversible.
What on a Bronco’s front end stays uncovered?
Lamps and anything they light through. Under section 6, item 1.0(a) of the province’s 2025 Vehicle Inspection Manual, a lens “covered in any manner” is grounds to fail the lamp. On a Bronco that rules out film on the round headlights, the fog lamps and the Raptor’s marker lamps; the surrounds can still go black.
Adaptive cruise is the other thing to mention. Transport Canada recall 2021-770 called some 2021 Broncos in to have the front radar module re-angled. If your truck has adaptive cruise, say so, and the grille plan will allow for the radar.
How do you book a Bronco chrome delete in Langley?
Give the shop your Bronco’s year, trim and colour, name each part you’d like dark, and pick a sheen. A grille photo speeds things up. You’ll get back a price and a day to drop the truck off.
Wrapped trim is happiest with hand or touchless washing and a pressure wand kept back from its edges. Request a quote on the chrome delete form. If the whole truck is changing colour, Bronco wraps covers the bigger job, and Bronco window tint the glass.
