Which exotic and performance cars has the shop worked on?
The shop’s own photo library includes a Porsche 911 GT3 RS in full paint protection film, plus a Lamborghini Huracán, 911 Turbo S, 911 GT3, Corvette C8 and Nissan GT-R that have been through the bay. Not all of them were PPF jobs, and the table records only what the photos and their captions show.
| Car | What the shop’s photos record |
|---|---|
| Porsche 911 GT3 RS | Satin black finish, full paint protection film |
| Lamborghini Huracán | Parked at the storefront; no job detail recorded |
| Porsche 911 Turbo S | Glass in LLumar CTX 15% ceramic window film |
| Porsche 911 GT3 (991.2) | Glass in LLumar AIR and IRX |
| Chevrolet Corvette C8 | Tinted glass |
| Nissan GT-R | Rear glass tinted, film heat-shrunk on the glass |
The GT3 RS is the job closest to what this page is about: a wide-body car with deep vents, a large rear wing and a satin finish, covered panel by panel. More of these cars are in the gallery.
What does full-body PPF cost on an exotic?
Full Vehicle coverage in LLumar Platinum starts at $4,000, and exotics are quoted per car rather than from a fixed list. Three things move that number: how big the car is, how complicated its bodywork is, and the state of its paint.
| Package | From | Covers |
|---|---|---|
| Partial Front | $850 | Whole bumper, headlights, mirrors, the front section of hood and fenders |
| Full Front | $1,550 | Hood and fenders edge to edge, whole bumper, headlights, mirrors |
| Track Package | $1,900 | Everything in Full Front, plus part of the roof, the A-pillars and the rockers |
| Full Vehicle | $4,000 | Every painted panel, plus the headlights |
Deep intakes, splitters and sculpted rear quarters all count as panel complexity, which is why a Huracán and a GT3 RS each get their own quote. Paint that needs correcting before film goes on adds to the job, and that is assessed once the paint has been measured. Pricing across other car types is on the PPF cost page, and full coverage is explained on the full-body PPF page.
Should a satin or matte exotic get matte film?
If the factory finish is flat, matte film keeps it flat; gloss film would put a shine on it. On gloss paint the choice runs the other way: gloss film disappears, and matte film turns the car satin.
LLumar describes Platinum Matte as giving a car “a sleek, flat finish” and says it can work with “existing flat finishes” or transform glossy paint. Its warranty term matches Platinum Gloss at 10 years, and its top coat heals light surface scratches with heat from the engine or the sun. Both finishes belong to the LLumar Platinum PPF line, so the choice comes down to the look you want.
How are vents, wings and sharp bodywork covered?
Every piece is cut from software templates for the specific model and fitted by hand, with edges wrapped wherever the panel shape allows. Where a bumper’s shape makes a relief cut unavoidable, the installer shows you exactly where it will sit before starting.
Prep comes first on an exotic as on any car: decontamination, then correction where the paint shows marks, since anything left on the surface ends up sealed under the film. Paint thickness is measured before any polishing starts. Owners of cars with add-on aero, carbon pieces or unusual trim should ask at the quote stage how those parts will be handled on their car, so it’s settled before the booking.
Is PPF a good idea on a car that does track days?
Yes, and the Track Package exists for it: a Full Front plus partial roof, A-pillars and rocker panels, the areas that collect debris on track and on gravel, from $1,900. Full Vehicle coverage takes in everything else.
LLumar also makes Platinum Extra, which it calls its thickest paint protection film, “made for gravel roads, track racing, and harsh weather”, with a 10-year limited warranty. The shop’s standard film is Platinum; if your car spends real time on track, raise Extra when you ask for a quote. Panel lists and timing are on the Track Package page.
Coming from Vancouver: where is the shop and how long is the car there?
Brookswood Tint is at Unit 312, 20560 Langley Bypass, Langley, with no Vancouver location; owners from Vancouver, Surrey, White Rock, Abbotsford and Maple Ridge bring their cars here. The shop is open Monday to Saturday, 9:00 to 17:00, and closed Sunday.
| Package | Typical time in the shop |
|---|---|
| Partial Front | Usually one day |
| Full Front, or the Track Package | 1–2 days |
| Full Vehicle | 3–5 days |
| Graphene-ceramic coating over the film | 1–3 days more |
A ceramic coating can go over the PPF and the remaining paint afterwards, so the whole car beads water the same way.
Booking PPF for an exotic
Use the quote form to send the year, make, model and paint finish, say which package you’re considering, and mention any chips or polish marks already on the car. Ask for the number of days the car needs to stay along with the price. To talk it through first, call or text 604 534 6433, or come by the shop on the Langley Bypass during opening hours.
