How much does PPF cost at Brookswood Tint in 2026?

PPF at Brookswood Tint costs from $850 to $4,000 plus tax, depending on the package. All four packages use LLumar Platinum film and carry the same 10-year manufacturer-backed warranty; what changes is how much of the car is covered.

Package From (plus tax) Panels covered Time in the shop
Partial Front $850 Bumper (whole), hood and fenders (leading section), headlights, mirrors Usually one day
Full Front $1,550 Hood, fenders and bumper (all whole panels), headlights, mirrors 1 to 2 days
Track Package $1,900 Full Front panels plus A-pillars, rockers and part of the roof 1 to 2 days
Full Vehicle $4,000 All painted surfaces, headlights 3 to 5 days

The steps between them are $700 from Partial Front to Full Front, $350 from Full Front to the Track Package and $2,100 from the Track Package to Full Vehicle. These are the shop’s published 2026 starting prices, and customers bring cars to Langley for them from Surrey, Cloverdale, White Rock, Abbotsford and Maple Ridge.

What pushes a PPF quote above the starting price?

Three things set the final price: the size of the vehicle, how complex its panels are and the condition of the paint. Old film that has to come off first adds labour as well. A small car with clean paint and simple panels is the one closest to the starting price.

Vehicle size

More painted surface means more film and more fitting time. A full-size pickup’s hood and fenders are a lot bigger than a compact car’s, so the same package costs more.

Panel complexity

Bumpers and hoods with deep vents, sharp creases and many separate pieces take longer to fit and wrap than a smooth panel does.

Paint condition and correction first

Film locks in whatever is under it, so swirls and scratches get corrected before it goes on. Paint thickness is measured first. The shop’s paint correction options are a one-stage enhancement polish of about a day, two-stage correction over one to two days, and multi-stage restoration of three days or more that’s quoted only after an inspection. Correction prices aren’t published; they’re quoted per car.

Gloss or matte finish

LLumar Platinum comes in gloss and in matte, which turns gloss paint satin. Name the finish on your quote request, and if you’re undecided, ask about both on the same quote so you can compare.

Removing old film

If the car already has old or failing PPF, it has to come off before new film goes on. That removal is extra labour, and it’s quoted on the car.

What’s included in a Brookswood Tint PPF price?

The package price covers the film, the prep and the fitting for the panels listed, plus the manufacturer warranty. Tax is the main thing it doesn’t include.

Included Not included
LLumar Platinum film, gloss or matte Tax
Pieces cut from software templates for your year, make and model Paint correction, when the paint needs it
Decontamination of the panels being filmed Ceramic coating over the film
Edges wrapped where the panel allows; any bumper relief cut shown before work starts Taillight film (a separate STEK service)
Headlights in every package Window tint
LLumar’s 10-year limited warranty (the shop lists yellowing, cracking, bubbling, peeling) Removal of old film

Is PPF cheaper than repainting a bumper or hood?

For a single bumper, the shop’s own comparison is that a partial front, starting at $850, costs less than respraying that one bumper. Respray prices come from body shops and vary, so get a body shop’s number before you weigh the two. For a hood, set that body shop figure against the $1,550 full front, which covers the whole hood plus the fenders, bumper, headlights and mirrors.

Beyond the first bill, the two do different things. A respray fixes the chips that are already there, and the next winter can chip the new paint again. Film goes on before the damage and takes the hits in place of the paint. A respray also replaces factory paint, while film keeps the factory paint under it. Film doesn’t repair a chip that’s already there, so a bumper that’s chipped today needs its paint fixed before film makes sense. The wider value question is answered in is PPF worth it.

Why do PPF quotes from different shops differ?

Quotes differ because shops price different films, different coverage, different edge work and different warranties under the same package name. Compare those four line by line before you compare totals.

Film line

Even within one brand, the film can change the price. LLumar alone sells several lines:

LLumar film What LLumar says about it Warranty
Gloss and Matte Its entry-level, “affordable” PPF 5-year limited
Platinum Gloss A high-shine topcoat for a factory-fresh look 10-year limited
Platinum Matte Platinum in a flat finish 10-year limited
Platinum Extra Its thickest PPF, aimed at gravel roads, track use and harsh weather 10-year limited
Valor PPF with a ceramic-style finish in one product 12-year limited

Brookswood Tint’s package prices are for Platinum. A quote for an entry film and a quote for Platinum aren’t the same product, even if the panel list matches. Details on the shop’s film are on the LLumar Platinum PPF page.

Coverage

“Front end” can mean a partial hood or a full one, with or without mirrors and headlights. A useful quote lists exactly which panels are covered, whether tax is included and whether paint correction is included. Brookswood’s packages name every panel; ask any other quote to do the same.

Edge wrapping

Ask whether the film wraps around the panel edges or stops short of them. Brookswood wraps edges where the panel allows and shows you any bumper relief cut before the work starts.

Warranty and tax

Check whose warranty it is, how long it runs and what it covers, and whether the total includes tax. Brookswood’s prices are plus tax.

Questions about PPF cost

01Do your PPF prices include tax?

No. Every PPF price the shop publishes is a pre-tax starting price, so add tax to the figure on your quote.

02Does PPF cost more on a truck or SUV?

Usually, yes. A bigger vehicle needs more film and more time to fit it, so a full-size truck or SUV quotes above the starting price for the same package.

03Is paint correction included in the PPF price?

Decontamination is part of every PPF job. If the paint needs correction before film, that's added to the quote, and the time depends on whether it needs one stage, two stages or more.

04Can I get a PPF price without bringing the car in?

Yes, for a starting figure: send the year, make, model and package through the quote form. Paint condition can change the final number, and that's something the shop checks on the car.
