What does PPF cost on a Ferrari?

Partial Front coverage starts at $850 and Full Front at $1,550; the Track Package begins at $1,900 and whole-car coverage at $4,000. Every Ferrari is quoted from its own panels, and deep intakes, splitters and carbon aero can lift the figure above those starting prices.

Package Coverage From
Partial Front Bumper, the forward part of the bonnet and wings, headlights, mirrors $850
Full Front Whole bonnet, whole front wings, bumper, headlights, mirrors $1,550
Track Package Full Front plus A-pillars, the roof’s front edge, sills $1,900
Full Vehicle All painted surfaces and the headlights $4,000

The film is LLumar Platinum, self-healing, made in gloss or matte, and backed by LLumar’s 10-year limited warranty, with yellowing, cracking, bubbling and peeling covered according to the shop’s published terms. Patterns are computer-cut, edges are wrapped under the panel where possible, and if a bumper needs a relief cut you’ll see exactly where before it’s made.

Where do current Ferraris take stone chips?

On the nose, where every current model concentrates its intakes and splitters. Each model page Ferrari publishes shows a front shaped for airflow, and grit hits the painted lips of those openings first.

Model Front end, per Ferrari
296 GTB and GTS A “tea-tray” set into the centre of the bumper; the Assetto Fiorano package adds carbon-fibre aero pieces to the front bumper
296 Speciale A larger front intake, a splitter with three lateral slits, and louvres beside a duct running up into the bonnet
849 Testarossa Front intake enlarged by 18%, brake intake in its upper part, a faired-in parking sensor
Amalfi No traditional grille; a floating body-coloured wing over a dark band that holds the sensors and headlights
Purosangue No grille; two shells form a disc with a slot for the camera and parking sensors
F80 Carbon fibre bonnet with an S-Duct; lower body in clear-coated carbon

Low cars meet highway grit at bumper height, and the leading edge of the bonnet catches what bounces up. A Full Front covers both and the wings behind them, which suits most road-driven Ferraris; the Track Package adds the sills and A-pillars for cars that see a circuit.

How is film fitted around Ferrari sensors and cameras?

The pattern is laid out around them, and you see where the edges fall before the film goes down. Three current models put sensors right in the area a front package covers.

The Purosangue’s front slot houses “the camera and parking sensors”, per Ferrari. The 849 Testarossa’s bumper includes a “fairing of the parking sensor” that channels air toward the brake intake. The Amalfi integrates “sensors and headlights” into the dark band across its nose. On each, the film stops cleanly at the sensor or opening rather than covering it, and the quote shows the layout. If a Ferrari has had a bumper replaced or a sensor moved, mention it, since the pattern assumes the factory positions.

Should the carbon fibre on a Ferrari be filmed?

Painted carbon gets film like any painted panel. Bare carbon with a clear coat is a separate choice, made at the quote, and current Ferraris have a lot of it.

Ferrari describes the F80’s lower body as “clear-coat finished carbon fibre”, contrasting with the painted upper body, and gives it a carbon fibre bonnet. The Purosangue has a carbon-fibre roof, and its Handling Speciale configuration adds carbon-fibre side shields. On the 296, the Assetto Fiorano package puts carbon aero pieces on the front bumper, exactly where stones land. Covering clear-coated carbon keeps chips out of its finish; leaving it bare keeps the weave untouched. Either way, the plan is agreed before installation.

Booking a Ferrari for PPF in Langley

Send the model, year and paint name, plus any option packages such as Assetto Fiorano or Handling Speciale. One day covers a Partial Front in most cases. Full Front and Track Package jobs take one to two days and Full Vehicle coverage three to five, and decontamination plus any needed correction happens before the film.

Skip washing for seven days after pickup. After that, hand or touchless washes only, and no pressure-washer jet aimed at an edge of the film. The exotic car PPF page looks at film on aero parts and vents for other makes, and the Ferrari ceramic coating page explains coating over film. Ring 604 534 6433 or use the PPF quote form for a Ferrari figure.

Questions about ferrari PPF

01Has Brookswood Tint put film on a Ferrari?

Not one that appears in the shop's photos. The PPF job it documents most fully is a 911 GT3 RS covered in full-body film, which you can see in the gallery.

02Can PPF go over a factory Ferrari livery?

Yes. A livery ordered from Ferrari is paint, so clear film covers it like the rest of the body and the design stays visible underneath.

03Gloss or matte film for a Ferrari?

Gloss keeps gloss paint looking as it left the factory. LLumar Platinum Matte turns gloss paint satin, so it suits owners who want that look or a car that's already satin.
