Partial Front starts at $850 and Full Vehicle at $4,000, with Full Front and the Track Package in between. Each step adds panels, and the right one depends on how far back you want the paint covered.

LLumar Platinum is the film throughout, gloss or matte and self-healing, under LLumar’s 10-year limited warranty. Yellowing, cracking, bubbling and peeling are the defects the shop says that warranty covers. The final number follows the trim, the panel shapes and the state of the paint.
Painted or moulded: what’s along a Mach-E’s lower body?
It changes by trim, and it decides how much of the lower body is paint that can chip. Ford Canada’s 2026 trim pages list:
| Trim | Door cladding | Wheel-lip mouldings | Lower fascias |
|---|---|---|---|
| Select | Black moulded | Black moulded | Body-colour upper, black moulded lower |
| Premium | Black moulded-in-colour, black-painted optional | Black-painted optional | Black moulded-in-colour, black-painted optional |
| GT | Black-painted | Body-colour painted | Black-painted, with an aggressive front fascia and grille shield |
| Rally | Dark Carbonized Grey-painted | Dark Carbonized Grey-painted | Dark Carbonized Grey-painted, with integrated LED fog lamps |
Moulded-in-colour plastic is coloured in the mould rather than painted, so there’s no paint on it to chip. Painted cladding and painted wheel lips take stone hits the way the body does, which makes the GT the trim where rocker and lower-body coverage earns its place.
The Rally is the exception. Ford lists “Clear Paint Protective Film on Lower Body Sides” as standard on it, along with a front aluminum underbody shield, so its lower sides already leave the factory filmed. On a Rally, put the money into the nose, hood and fenders, and ask the shop to check the factory film’s edges when it plans the rest.
Which sensors sit in the Mach-E’s bumpers?
On the GT, front parking sensors and a 360-degree camera as standard. Ford Canada’s GT page lists a Technology Package, standard on that trim, with “a 360-degree camera, front parking sensors, and Reverse Brake Assist”; on the Select and Premium the 360-degree camera is an option.
Each of those changes what the bumper pattern has to work around. Tell the shop your trim and packages when you ask, along with any accessory such as front splash guards, so the template fits your car’s front end.
Gloss or matte film on a Mach-E?
Gloss leaves Ford’s colour looking as it was painted; matte turns it satin. The same LLumar Platinum goes on an electric SUV as on any other car, and the question of whether electric cars have softer paint has its own page. The Ford Canada model page shows eight 2026 colours, from Shadow Black and Race Red to Eruption Green Metallic, and marks two of them, Star White Metallic and Glacier Grey Metallic, as extra-cost tri-coats.
If you paid extra for a tri-coat, gloss film is the way to keep that finish on show. A matte look makes most sense as Full Vehicle, so the whole Mach-E ends up one sheen instead of a satin nose ahead of gloss doors. More on electric models is on the EV PPF page.
Booking PPF for a Mach-E in Langley
List the year, trim, colour and options, the coverage you’re after and the finish, then submit them on the PPF quote form or send a text to 604 534 6433. The paint is decontaminated and measured first, and any correction comes before the film.
The car stays one day for Partial Front, one or two for Full Front or the Track Package, and three to five for Full Vehicle. Give the film a week before its first wash; from then on, hand washing or a touchless bay is the way, with pressure nozzles kept clear of the edges.
