What does PPF cost on a GMC Sierra 1500?
Sierra pricing begins at the four LLumar Platinum floors every vehicle shares, between $850 and $4,000 before tax. A half-ton GMC simply has more hood and fender to cover, so your price is worked out on the truck.
| Package | From | Panels |
|---|---|---|
| Partial Front | $850 | Bumper; leading edges; headlights; mirrors |
| Full Front | $1,550 | Whole hood and fenders; bumper; lights; mirrors |
| Track Package | $1,900 | Full Front, then rockers and pillars |
| Full Vehicle | $4,000 | Every painted panel, plus headlights |
Track adds three areas to Full Front: rocker panels, A-pillars and a section of roof. Platinum heals light scratches with heat, comes in gloss or a matte that turns gloss paint satin, and carries LLumar’s 10-year limited warranty. In the shop’s own wording, that warranty covers yellowing, cracking, bubbling and peeling. The PPF price page explains what pushes a Sierra’s figure up or down.
How does the Sierra’s trim change what gets film?
Film goes on paint, and how much of a Sierra’s nose is painted depends on its trim. GMC Canada’s 2026 lineup gives the Elevation a monochromatic exterior with gloss-black mesh in the grille, and the SLT a chrome grille, chrome door handles and chrome front and rear bumpers.
| 2026 Sierra 1500 trim | Front end, as GMC Canada lists it | Worth raising at the quote |
|---|---|---|
| Elevation | Monochromatic exterior, gloss-black grille mesh | How much of the bumper is body colour |
| SLT | Chrome grille, door handles, front and rear bumpers | A bright bumper in place of a painted one |
| Denali | Signature Denali grille with chrome header | Chrome above the grille opening |
| AT4X | AEV stamped steel front bumper with winch capability | A bumper unlike the other trims |
Mirror caps differ as well. On the 2027 truck, GMC lists black molded mirror caps for the Pro and high-gloss black caps for the Elevation. Name your trim and any accessory bumper, so the quote covers the panels your Sierra actually has.
Where does a Sierra 1500 pick up stone chips?
Mostly along the front of the hood, on the painted parts of the bumper, on the mirrors, and low on the doors and rockers. Those surfaces meet grit from the traffic ahead and from the truck’s own front tires.
The hood
GMC describes a “precision hood surface” as part of the 2027 Sierra’s new exterior design. The hood is the biggest single panel facing the road. Partial Front covers its leading section, and Full Front covers all of it.
The mirrors
The 2027 Sierra measures 96.9 inches across with its mirrors and 81.4 inches without, so each mirror stands roughly 7.75 inches out from the body. All four packages include them.
Rockers and lower doors
On a Sierra that sees gravel, the Track Package earns its place by filming the rockers along with the pillars and the leading part of the roof. Speed raises the stakes too: TranBC’s numbers put a 110 km/h stone strike at close to double the energy of one at 80, so a Sierra cruising at highway speed takes harder hits than one running errands in town.
GMC also says the Sierra’s Enhanced Automatic Emergency Braking relies on radar and camera technology, and Front and Rear Park Assist is available. Tell the shop which systems your truck has, so the pattern matches your bumper.
Which PPF package fits the way you use a Sierra?
Start from your roads. Paved commuting is mostly a front-end problem, while gravel adds the low panels and pillars.
| How the Sierra is used | Package to start from |
|---|---|
| Town driving and short trips | Partial Front, from $850 |
| Daily Highway 1 commuting | Full Front, from $1,550 |
| Gravel roads, job sites, long tows | Track Package, from $1,900 |
| A new Denali or AT4X you plan to keep | Full Vehicle, from $4,000 |
If you’re torn between the first two, the partial versus full front comparison walks through where each one stops.
How do you book PPF for a Sierra 1500?
Send the model year, cab, bed length, trim, chosen package and finish via the PPF quote form; texting 604 534 6433 works too. Flag any aftermarket bumper, flares or tow mirrors, since those change the panels being covered.
Partial Front generally needs one day in the bay and Full Front or Track one to two, while a Full Vehicle Sierra stays three to five days. Before film, the Sierra’s paint gets a full decontamination, plus correction where swirls or scratches call for it. Pickups of every make are covered on the truck PPF page.
