Hyundai Santa Fe PPF in Langley, BC

At a glance

Brookswood Tint's four LLumar Platinum packages for a Hyundai Santa Fe start at $850 (Partial Front), $1,550 (Full Front), $1,900 (Track) and $4,000 (Full Vehicle). As a large three-row SUV, the Santa Fe can price above those figures. Two of its 2026 Canadian colours are factory matte; on those, Platinum Matte keeps the finish, and Hyundai's whole-panel repaint rule makes protection worth more.

What does PPF cost on a Hyundai Santa Fe?

Between $850 and $4,000 to start, depending on how much of the SUV is covered; every package is LLumar Platinum, backed by LLumar’s 10-year limited warranty. The Santa Fe is a big, upright SUV with more hood, bumper and side panel than a compact, so treat these as starting prices: size, panel complexity and paint condition set the final figure.

Package Coverage From
Partial Front Bumper, headlights, mirrors, front section of hood and fenders $850
Full Front Complete hood and fenders, with the bumper, headlights and mirrors $1,550
Track Package Full Front coverage plus the A-pillars, a roof section and both rockers $1,900
Full Vehicle All painted surfaces and the headlights $4,000

Timing runs from a day for Partial Front to one or two days with the Track Package or Full Front; Full Vehicle needs three to five. The shop lists yellowing, cracking, bubbling and peeling among what its warranty covers. How the two front packages differ is explained in partial versus full front PPF.

What’s built into the Santa Fe’s front end?

Radar, a camera and, on upper trims, a ring of parking sensors. The 2025 Santa Fe Hybrid driver assistance chapter mounts the front radar behind the front grille, puts front corner radars near the front corners where fitted, and fixes the wide-front view camera for the surround view to the grille itself. Ultrasonic sensors sit in the bumper, with side sensors near the front wheels.

How many of those your bumper carries depends on the trim. Hyundai Canada’s 2026 card brings in Surround View Monitor and side parking distance warning at the Luxury, while Hyundai’s US sheet gives forward and reverse parking warning to every 2027 trim.

Hyundai’s cautions in that chapter matter for film:

  • Near the radar: no film, bumper wrap, bumper sticker, bumper guard or licence plate frame.
  • Bumper repairs: genuine Hyundai parts where the radar is located.
  • Around the ultrasonic sensors: no stickers, no paint, and no high-pressure water aimed at them.

Ask the shop to show you where every edge will sit around the grille camera and the sensor heads before the film goes on.

Can a matte Santa Fe get paint protection film?

Yes, in matte film. Hyundai Canada’s 2026 Santa Fe card shows two factory matte colours: every 2026 trim can be ordered in Earthy Brass Matte, and the Luxury and Ultimate Calligraphy can also have Creamy White Matte. LLumar Platinum Matte keeps that low sheen where gloss film would add shine.

On these colours, film is worth more. The 2026 Santa Fe Hybrid maintenance chapter says a damaged matte area can’t be repainted on its own, so the whole part is repainted, and it rules out polish and abrasives on the finish. Where a chip in gloss paint can be touched up, matte damage that needs paint means a full panel. PPF on matte paint covers how the finish looks under film.

Which PPF package suits a Santa Fe?

Full Front, for most. Hyundai Canada calls the design “boxy and bold”, and a tall, flat front meets stones head on, so covering the hood and fenders completely, with no film line crossing them, makes sense for highway driving. The headlights, with Hyundai’s ‘H’ LED daytime running lights built into the front, are in every package.

Track builds on Full Front with the A-pillars, a strip of roof and the rockers. A bridge-type roof rack is standard in Canada; if you load it often, ask about that roof coverage on the Track Package page. Partial Front is the lower-cost route and still covers the whole bumper.

How do you book Santa Fe PPF in Langley?

Send the year, trim, exact colour (say if it’s one of the matte paints) and the package you’re weighing up. The shop inspects and decontaminates the paint before film goes down; correction is a gloss-paint step, and Hyundai rules out polishing on matte, so raise any marks on a matte Santa Fe at the inspection.

Hold off washing for a week after pickup; from then on, hand or touchless washes only. Hyundai cautions that a pressure washer can harm the front and rear cameras and sensors, and film edges deserve the same respect. Start with the Santa Fe PPF quote form, and see Hyundai Santa Fe window tint if the glass is on your list too.

Questions about hyundai Santa Fe PPF

01Is the Santa Fe's grille part of a PPF package?

No. The packages list painted panels and headlights, and the grille, where Hyundai mounts the front radar and the wide-front camera, isn't one of them. Ask to see where the bumper film stops around it.

02Can gloss film go on an Earthy Brass Matte Santa Fe?

It can, but gloss film adds shine wherever it sits, so the covered panels would stop matching the rest. Platinum Matte is the film that keeps them looking the same.

03How long does a Santa Fe stay in for Full Vehicle film?

Plan on three to five days for every painted panel. The front packages are quicker, a day or two at most.

04Will clear film change how Pebble Blue Pearl looks on my Santa Fe?

No. On gloss paint like the Santa Fe's pearl colours, Platinum Gloss is essentially invisible. Only the matte film changes the sheen, turning gloss paint satin.
