Brookswood Tint's LLumar Platinum packages for a Mercedes-Benz GLE begin at $850 (Partial Front) and run through $1,550 (Full Front) and $1,900 (Track) to $4,000 for full coverage, with a GLE's size able to lift any of them. Whether the lower body needs film depends on the trim: a base GLE wears black wheel arch cladding, while the AMG Line paints the arches and side sills body colour.

How are GLE PPF packages priced?

A GLE’s film starts from $850 and reaches $4,000 for full coverage. Those are starting prices: the GLE is a big SUV, and Mercedes-Benz USA lists the 2020 model at 194.3 inches (about 4.9 m) long and 76.7 inches (about 1.95 m) wide without mirrors, so a large hood and long sides can take the figure higher.

Package Panels on a GLE From Time
Partial Front The GLE’s front bumper, the forward section of hood and fenders, headlights, mirrors $850 Usually one day
Full Front Every inch of the GLE’s hood and front fenders, plus bumper, headlights, mirrors $1,550 1 to 2 days
Track Package The Full Front list, with a GLE’s windshield pillars, roof edge and rockers on top $1,900 1 to 2 days
Full Vehicle All painted surfaces, headlights included $4,000 3 to 5 days

Each GLE panel is templated in software and covered in self-healing Platinum, edges wrapped where the panel shape permits; if the bumper calls for a relief cut, you see the location first. LLumar’s 10-year limited warranty stands behind the film, and the shop’s published list of covered defects is yellowing, cracking, bubbling and peeling. The step from front-end to full coverage is weighed on full front versus full body PPF.

Which GLE panels does the AMG Line paint?

The ones that are black plastic on a base GLE. Mercedes-Benz USA’s 2020 GLE guide lists black wheel arch claddings among the new GLE’s features. The AMG Line exterior swaps those for paint: the 2024 GLE release says it brings AMG side sill panels and wheel arch cladding in body colour, along with AMG front and rear fascias.

GLE Arches and sills AMG Line status
2020 to 2023 Black wheel arch claddings listed as a new feature Standard on the GLE 580, optional on the others
2024 on Body colour with the AMG Line Standard on the GLE 580; standard on the GLE 450 4MATIC from 2026 in the US

Mercedes-Benz Canada describes the AMG Line Exterior as adding sculpted bumpers and “colour-keyed fender flares” on the GLE SUV. Painted flares and sills sit right in the spray from the tires, so on an AMG Line GLE the Track Package’s rockers, or full coverage, protect more paint than they would on a base model. Rocker panel PPF explains that zone.

Where are a GLE’s radar sensors and cameras?

At the front of the vehicle, by Mercedes’s own description, with more cameras around it on newer GLEs. Mercedes’s 2018 GLE introduction describes a stereo multipurpose camera, a long-range radar and front multi-mode corner radar sensors working together for the driver assistance systems.

The 2027 GLE carries more: ten exterior cameras, up to five radar sensors and 12 ultrasonic sensors, according to the 2027 GLE release, which also describes a new front bumper and a large underride guard. The shop checks how those sit on your GLE before cutting, and camera lenses are left clear.

Gloss or matte film on a GLE?

Gloss, for a GLE in a gloss colour. Mercedes keeps adding special colours: Twilight Blue Metallic and MANUFAKTUR Alpine Grey for 2024, four MANUFAKTUR Signature paints for 2025 per the 2025 model line updates, and Dark Petrol and MANUFAKTUR Patagonia Red Metallic for 2027.

On a GLE, Platinum Gloss keeps those colours looking as Mercedes painted them. Platinum Matte turns gloss paint satin, which changes the look of the whole vehicle, so it suits owners who want that effect on purpose. Ask to see a sample against your paint.

How do you book PPF for a GLE in Langley?

Include the GLE’s year and model, the paint name and whether the AMG Line was fitted. Prep is a decontamination wash, plus correction wherever the paint shows it needs it.

Hold off washing the GLE for seven days. Afterwards, hand washing or a touchless bay keeps the film happy; brush washes are out, and a pressure nozzle should never be aimed at an edge. The windows can be tinted in the same stay; GLE window tint has those prices. Ask for a figure through the GLE PPF quote form or call 604 534 6433.

Questions about GLE PPF

01Is the chrome underguard filmed too?

No. The GLE's chrome-look underguard is trim, not painted bodywork, so the four packages leave it out; raise it separately if you want it protected.

02Does a GLE Coupe cost the same as the SUV?

The packages are the same, but the Coupe's body is shaped differently from the doors back, which matters most for a Full Vehicle job. Each is quoted from its own panels.

03Will PPF affect the GLE's parking sensors?

The shop checks where your GLE's sensors and cameras sit before the template is finalized. Tell it which assistance packages the vehicle has.

04Is a MANUFAKTUR paint worth protecting with film?

Film keeps the original factory paint on every panel it covers, which matters more when the colour was a special order. Gloss film keeps it looking as Mercedes finished it.
