What does PPF cost on a Porsche 911?

The four LLumar Platinum packages start at $850 and run to $4,000 for full coverage. They’re starting prices: aero parts, vents and the condition of the paint can push a 911’s figure higher.

Package Panels on a 911 From Time
Partial Front Front apron, the leading part of the front lid and front fenders, headlights, mirrors $850 Usually one day
Full Front Whole front lid, whole front fenders, front apron, headlights, mirrors $1,550 1 to 2 days
Track Package Everything in Full Front, A-pillars, the front of the roof, sills $1,900 1 to 2 days
Full Vehicle Every painted panel, headlights included $4,000 3 to 5 days

Platinum is self-healing and comes off software-cut templates, and its edges are tucked around a panel wherever the shape lets them. On the apron, a relief cut is sometimes the only way to fit the film, and you’ll be shown its position first. LLumar’s Platinum Gloss carries a 10-year limited warranty, and the shop lists yellowing, cracking, bubbling and peeling as covered.

Where does a 911 pick up stone chips?

At the nose first, then along the flanks. In the shop’s view, the 911’s low front apron and the leading edge of its front lid meet stones from traffic ahead, and the bodywork that widens out in front of the rear wheels catches what the front tires throw back.

Porsche’s 2024 press kit gives the current car a width of 1,852 mm without mirrors, on a 2,450 mm wheelbase, and puts the GTS models on wider wheels. That’s why the Track Package’s rockers matter on a 911: they cover the sill between the wheels, and on an Aerokit car the side skirts that come with it. The Aerokit, as Porsche describes it, adds “a distinctive Sport Design front apron with a separate front spoiler, matching side skirts and a lightweight fixed rear wing”, available in body colour, Black or Carbon.

What changed at the front of the 911 in 2024, and why does it matter for film?

Porsche moved all the front lighting into the headlights. The same press kit says this made it possible “to omit the ancillary front lights” and freed space for larger cooling vents, and each model variant now has its own front apron.

Two details follow for film. The assistance sensors moved below the number plate in the centre air intake, “concealed behind a high-gloss surface”, so plan with the shop how that panel is treated before anything is cut. And the Carrera GTS has five vertical active cooling flaps visible on each side of the front, plus a front spoiler lip painted in satin-finish black, according to Porsche’s exterior chapter. A template for your exact model and year accounts for those openings, which is why the shop asks for the variant, not just “911”.

Gloss or matte film on a 911?

Gloss film keeps factory gloss paint looking as it does now; Platinum Matte turns gloss paint satin and keeps a factory matte finish flat. Both carry LLumar’s 10-year limited warranty.

The satin GT3 RS in the photo is the shop’s own example of a 911 under full-body film, set out on the GT3 RS PPF project. If you’re weighing a satin look, remember that the GTS lip is already satin black from Porsche, so matte film there keeps it matching while gloss film would add a shine. The finishes are compared on matte PPF.

How do you book PPF for a 911 in Langley?

Send the year, the exact variant (Carrera, Carrera S, GTS, Turbo, GT3 and so on), the paint colour and whether it has the Aerokit or other Exclusive Manufaktur parts. The shop decontaminates the paint and corrects it if needed before filming.

Leave the film unwashed for its first week. After that, wash by hand or in a touchless bay, never a brush wash, and don’t aim a pressure nozzle at an edge. The glass can be done in the same stay; 911 window tint has those prices. Call 604 534 6433, or send the details through the 911 PPF quote form.

Questions about porsche 911 PPF

01Does a 911 with the Aerokit cost more to film?

It can. Porsche's Aerokit adds its own front apron with a separate spoiler, side skirts and a fixed wing, so there are more edges and parts to template than on a standard car.

02Can film go over the GTS's active cooling flaps?

The flaps are moving parts, so they're treated separately from the painted apron around them. Ask the shop to show what its template covers on a GTS before you book.

03Is the Track Package worth it on a road-driven 911?

In the shop's view, yes if you spend a lot of time on Highway 1, because the rockers and A-pillars it adds are where stones reach next after the nose. For a car that seldom sees the highway, a Full Front covers most of the exposure.

04Are the headlights included on a 911?

Yes, in every package. On the 911 as updated in 2024 they matter more than before, because Porsche moved all of the front lighting functions into the headlight units.
