Rolls-Royce PPF in Langley, BC

At a glance

Brookswood Tint fits LLumar Platinum paint protection film to Rolls-Royce models in four packages, spanning $850 for a Partial Front to $4,000 for Full Vehicle, with Full Front and Track, at $1,550 and $1,900, in the middle, each priced from the car's own panels. Two things set the pattern: the Spirit of Ecstasy, which Rolls-Royce mounts on a retracting base on every car built at Goodwood, and very large panels, including the Spectre's single side panel running from the A-pillar to the luggage compartment.

What does PPF cost on a Rolls-Royce?

Each of the four packages has a starting price, from $850 to $4,000. A Rolls-Royce is long and wide, so its quote is built up from the car and usually lands above that opening number.

  • Partial Front, from $850: the front bumper, headlamps and mirrors, plus the forward part of the bonnet and wings.
  • Full Front, from $1,550: bonnet and front wings in full, with the bumper, headlamps and mirrors.
  • Track Package, from $1,900: the Full Front panels plus A-pillars, part of the roof and the sills.
  • Full Vehicle, from $4,000: each painted panel, the headlamps too.

For scale, Rolls-Royce’s launch figures put the Spectre at 5,453 mm long and 2,080 mm wide, and the Ghost Series II at 2,148 mm wide. LLumar Platinum heals its own light marks and comes in gloss or matte, and LLumar’s limited warranty on it runs 10 years; the shop’s published terms cover yellowing, cracking, bubbling and peeling.

How is film fitted around the Spirit of Ecstasy?

Around her, never over her. The figurine has to rise and retract freely, so the film is kept clear of the opening she sinks into.

Rolls-Royce’s history of the mascot explains that she was first mounted on a spring-loaded base so she could sink into the radiator “at the merest touch”, and that this movement, now called “the rise”, features on every Rolls-Royce hand-built at Goodwood. Besides the mirror-polished, cast stainless steel figurine, she’s offered in solid silver, 24-carat gold plate or black carbon fibre. The figurine isn’t painted, so it sits outside the PPF packages.

Where does each Rolls-Royce take stone chips?

On the bumper and the leading edge of the bonnet, around a grille that’s metal rather than paint. Recent releases describe each front end:

Model Front end, per Rolls-Royce
Cullinan Series II Bumper lines forming a shallow “V” from the running lights to the centre; an illuminated Pantheon grille with a lower leading edge; a polished “horizon line” between the lamps
Cullinan, original A hand-polished stainless grille set slightly proud of the bodywork, above a metal skid plate
Ghost Series II Lamp graphics running from the lower grille to the wing edge; chrome forming a “floating” plinth for the mascot
Phantom Series II A darkened chrome grille surround and black bonnet reins, both available to commission
Spectre The widest grille ever fitted to a Rolls-Royce, in polished stainless steel, between split headlamps

The painted bumper and the bonnet edge around each grille are what a Full Front covers. The metal itself, from grille vanes to the Cullinan’s skid plate, isn’t paint and stays outside the package unless you ask.

Why is the Spectre’s side panel a special case?

Size. Rolls-Royce says the Spectre’s tail lamps are set into the largest single body panel it has ever produced, running from the A-pillar to the luggage compartment.

For Full Vehicle coverage, that means one very long sheet of film or a planned seam. Ask where any seam would fall before you book; why PPF has seams explains the trade-off. The Spectre Series II adds Gradient Two-Tone paint, taking up to four days per car, which clear gloss film leaves on show.

Booking a Rolls-Royce for PPF in Langley

Send the model, series, year and paint, and mention any Black Badge or darkened trim. A Partial Front is roughly a one-day visit, while Full Front or Track runs one to two days and Full Vehicle three to five; decontamination, and correction if the paint calls for it, happen first. Give it seven days before any wash, then stick to hand or touchless washing with the wand kept off film edges. The full-body PPF page covers whole-car coverage, and Rolls-Royce ceramic coating the finish on top. Start the quote on the PPF form, or phone 604 534 6433.

Questions about rolls-Royce PPF

01Does the film cover the Pantheon grille?

Not as standard. The packages cover painted surfaces and headlights, and Rolls-Royce makes the grille from polished stainless steel; mention it if you want it considered.

02Has the shop put PPF on a Rolls-Royce?

The shop's photo library has no Rolls-Royce. For full-body film, its recorded job is the satin black 911 GT3 RS in the gallery.

03Can clear film go over Spectre's Gradient Two-Tone paint?

Yes. Gloss film is clear, so the gradient stays visible under it from nose to tail. Matte film would turn the gloss finish satin instead.
