What does PPF cost on a Toyota Prius?
Every package is LLumar Platinum, a film that repairs light scratches itself and is warranted by LLumar for 10 years (limited); the table gives each one’s starting price. For scale, Toyota Canada’s Prius specifications give 4,598 mm of length, 1,430 mm of height and 152 mm of ground clearance.
| Package | From | Covers | On a Prius |
|---|---|---|---|
| Partial Front | $850 | Full bumper, partial hood, partial fenders, headlights, side mirrors | The pointed nose, both headlights and the first part of the long, sloping hood |
| Full Front | $1,550 | Full hood, full fenders, full bumper, headlights, side mirrors | The whole hood up to the windshield, with no film edge across it |
| Track Package | $1,900 | Full front plus partial roof, A-pillars, rocker panels | Sills under the doors plus the windshield pillars |
| Full Vehicle | $4,000 | All painted surfaces, headlights | Every panel, the rear flares and the liftback included |
Every figure is a floor. The final number follows the size of the car, the complexity of its panels and how healthy the paint is; before film, the Prius is decontaminated and, where needed, corrected. Edges get wrapped wherever the panel shape allows it.
Where does a Prius take its stone chips?
At the front first, then low along the sides. In its PPF FAQ, LLumar points to three areas, the front bumper, the hood and the rocker panels, as the spots that take “the most punishment”, and the Prius’s shape puts all three in the firing line.
Toyota Canada’s 2026 Prius release points to the design cues that matter here: a low stance, sleek bi-beam LED headlights and flared rear fenders. The nose and headlights meet grit from traffic ahead, and the leading edge of each rear flare sits in line with what the front tires throw back along the sills. Toyota fits mudguards to both grades; they catch part of that spray but leave the paint ahead of them exposed.
If the car commutes on the freeway, PPF coverage for Highway 1 commuters weighs Partial Front against Full Front.
How does film fit around a Prius’s sensors and cameras?
By matching the pattern to your grade. The film is cut by software from a template for the year, make and model, and on a Prius the bumpers differ between grades:
| Prius grade | Sensors and cameras Toyota Canada lists |
|---|---|
| XLE AWD (2026) | Intelligent Clearance Sonar, backup camera |
| Limited AWD (2026 and 2027) | Front and Rear Parking Assist with Automatic Braking, Panoramic View Monitor, backup camera with washer |
Toyota’s 2027 announcement lists the Intelligent Clearance Sonar system among the standard safety features of the 2027 cars. Every grade also has Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 with Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, so before film goes near the emblem or lower grille, look up the radar sensor in your owner’s manual and follow what it says about covering that area. Include the model year and grade in your quote request.
Should a Prius get gloss or matte film?
Gloss keeps the factory shine; LLumar Platinum Matte turns gloss paint to a satin finish. Toyota Canada currently shows the Prius in Cutting Edge Silver, Guardian Gray, Ink, Reservoir Blue and Wind Chill Pearl, and any of them can take either film.
Satin changes the look of the whole car only if the whole car is covered. Matte on a front package leaves a satin nose and a gloss body behind it; if an all-satin car is the goal, Full Vehicle is the package that gets you there. The matte PPF page covers how the finish is cared for.
How do you book PPF for a Prius in Langley?
Share the year, grade and colour, which package appeals and whether you want gloss or matte, using the Prius PPF quote form, or send it all by text to 604 534 6433.
Expect the Prius back after about a day with Partial Front; Full Front and the Track Package keep it one to two days, Full Vehicle three to five. Hold off washing for the first seven days, and after that stick to a bucket and mitt or a touchless bay, keeping the wand of a pressure washer clear of film edges. If you’re deciding between the two front packages, Full Front PPF sets out exactly what it adds.
