What will PPF cost on a Tacoma, package by package?
In LLumar Platinum, a Tacoma’s front starts at $850 (Partial) or $1,550 (Full), while the Track Package begins at $1,900 and the whole truck at $4,000. At 5.4 to 5.7 metres long, a Tacoma has a lot of paint to cover, so treat those as the floor and expect the final number from your truck.
| Package | Covers on a Tacoma | From |
|---|---|---|
| Partial Front | Front bumper whole, a band across the hood’s leading edge and the fender tips, headlights, mirrors | $850 |
| Full Front | Whole hood and fenders, front bumper, headlights, mirrors | $1,550 |
| Track Package | Full Front, then A-pillars, the roof’s leading edge, rockers under the cab doors | $1,900 |
| Full Vehicle | Every painted surface, cab, box and tailgate | $4,000 |
Platinum heals light marks with heat and comes with a 10-year limited warranty from LLumar, which the shop’s published terms say takes in yellowing, cracking, bubbling and peeling. Software cuts each piece to the Tacoma’s panels, the edge is wrapped round the panel wherever the shape lets it, and the paint gets decontaminated, plus corrected where it needs it, before film touches it.
Which Tacoma panels take the stones, package by package?
The hood, fenders and front bumper on every Tacoma, plus whatever painted pieces your package adds. Toyota Canada’s 2026 specifications show the front end and the fender flares changing finish from one package to the next:
| 2026 Tacoma package | Overfenders | Front end details |
|---|---|---|
| TRD Sport, Sport+, Sport Premium | Body coloured | Colour-keyed hood scoop, TRD front grille |
| TRD Off Road, Off Road+, gas Off Road Premium | MIC black | TRD front grille |
| Hybrid TRD Off Road Premium, Limited | MIC black (Off Road Premium) | Colour-keyed front bumper |
| TRD Pro | Gloss black | Colour-keyed bumper, TOYOTA Heritage grille with LED light bar, rocker protector, aluminum front skid plate |
| Trailhunter | MIC black | Colour-keyed bumper, TOYOTA Heritage grille with LED light bar, rock rails |
The body-coloured overfenders on the TRD Sport grades are painted surfaces right behind the front tires, which makes them worth adding to a front package. The colour-keyed front bumper on the hybrid grades is likewise paint, in the most exposed spot on the truck. Moulded-in black flares and steel rock rails aren’t painted, so they sit outside the packages, which are built around paint. For trucks that live on gravel, the rocker panel PPF page covers the sills.
Where is the Tacoma’s radar, and how does it change the film plan?
Behind the front emblem. Toyota’s exterior care page for the 2026 Tacoma says, “Do not spray water directly on the radar which is equipped behind the emblem.” The Toyota Safety Sense section of the same manual then lists what must not be stuck on a radar sensor, its cover or the surrounding area: accessories, aluminum tape and stickers, “including transparent stickers”.
So on a Tacoma the emblem and its surround are left bare, and the film pattern is planned to stop short of them. The same page says not to attach accessories that could obstruct the front camera to the hood, grille or bumper. The care page also gives a reason to protect the bumpers: if their paint is chipped or scratched, Toyota warns that some driver-assist systems “may not function correctly.”
Does a 5-ft or 6-ft bed change the full-body quote?
Yes. Toyota Canada lists the Tacoma at 5,410 mm long with the 5-ft bed and 5,743 mm with the 6-ft bed. Its specifications put the Trailhunter on the 6-ft bed, and the features page shows that grade with a roof rack. More bed means more box side and a longer Full Vehicle job. Front packages aren’t affected, since they end at the cab. Full Vehicle film means three to five days without the truck.
Getting a Tacoma PPF price in Langley
Send the year, package, bed length and colour, plus photos of any chips already on the hood or bumper. You’ll get a price for the package you want and any pieces worth adding, such as painted overfenders. The general truck PPF page explains how pickups differ from cars.
Leave the truck unwashed for its first week in film. From the eighth day on, hand washing and touchless bays both suit a filmed Tacoma; brush tunnels are out, and the pressure washer’s jet belongs on the panel, never on the border of the film. Film and a coating can go on the same truck; see Tacoma ceramic coating. Send the details through the Tacoma PPF request, or call 604 534 6433 with your bed length handy.
