What does a BMW M4 wrap cost?
It’s quoted per car, because the scope varies so much: a full colour change, a matte version of the existing colour, or just the hood, roof or stripes. The shop needs the year, the version and photos to price it.
Three things move the figure on an M4. How much of the body is covered. Which film, since 3M and Avery Dennison cast vinyls come in gloss, satin, matte and colour-shift finishes. And how much detail the body carries, which on an M4 is a lot. Because it’s vinyl rather than paint, an M4 wrap can be peeled away later and the original colour is back. The vinyl wrap page covers the process from start to finish.
Can a wrap give an M4 the Frozen look?
Yes, without ordering the paint. BMW’s matte Frozen colours for the M4 have included Brilliant White and Portimao Blue at the 2021 launch, Isle of Man Green on the 2025 CS and an optional Brooklyn Grey on the CSL.
Those finishes are chosen when the car is built. A matte or satin vinyl gives a gloss M4 a similar flat look afterwards, in almost any colour, and comes off when you sell. If you’d rather keep the factory colour and only flatten it, matte paint protection film is the other route; the trade-offs are laid out in matte PPF versus a matte wrap.
| Factory route | Vinyl route |
|---|---|
| Frozen paint, ordered with the car | Matte or satin film over any gloss colour |
| Permanent | Removable |
| Limited to BMW’s Frozen list | Any colour in the 3M or Avery Dennison range |
Vinyl stripes or BMW’s M design graphics?
Both put contrast on the hood and trunk; one is factory and one is reversible. BMW’s version arrived with the 2025 M4 announcement: optional M design graphics for the Coupe, in a choice of two gloss colours, black or red. Order them with the steel roof option and BMW finishes the roof panel in High Gloss Black as well.
Vinyl reaches the same idea on any year of M4, including cars built before the option existed. A gloss black hood, a black roof over a coloured body, or stripes in a colour BMW doesn’t offer can all be cut from wrap film. The hood wrap page covers what a single-panel job involves.
Which M4 panels take the most work to wrap?
The ones BMW shaped for airflow. Going by the launch release, that means the gills cut into each front fender, the swollen arches at both ends, the long extended sills and the upright Air Curtain slots in the bumper corners.
Every one of those means a recess, a tight edge or an opening that the vinyl has to be stretched into and trimmed around by hand. The standard roof is carbon fibre with two fins along it, so decide whether it’s covered or left as carbon. On a CS or CSL, make the same call for the carbon splitter, mirror caps and other bare carbon parts. Those decisions change the quote, so settle them before the film is ordered.
How do you book an M4 wrap in Langley?
Send the year and version, the current paint, the colour or finish you’re after (a 3M 2080 or Avery Dennison SW900 name helps), and photos of all four sides. Say which carbon parts stay visible.
The shop’s matte metallic wrap on a Mercedes GLS, done in Avery Dennison film, is on the GLS wrap project page. If you’d like the remaining brightwork blacked out at the same time, M4 chrome delete explains what’s left on an M4. Send it all through the M4 wrap enquiry, or talk it through on 604 534 6433.
