How is a Nissan Z wrap priced, and how many days does it take?
Each Z is priced individually, because colour, finish and the number of parts removed for tidy edges all change the job. Send the year, grade and the colour you want and you’ll get a figure for that car.
| Z wrap job | Time in the shop | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Full colour change, every exterior panel | 3 to 5 days | Quoted per car |
| Roof, hood, mirrors or spoiler | Same day to 2 days | Quoted per car |
| Stripe set | Same day to 2 days | Quoted per car |
The shop uses 3M and Avery Dennison cast film and publishes a 5-year manufacturer warranty on the vinyl. Door jambs are available on a full colour change. The factory paint stays untouched underneath, which suits a car people tend to keep and later want back to stock.
Which Z looks does Nissan sell, and which only vinyl can give?
Nissan sells two-tone paint with a Super Black roof, but only on chosen colours. The 2023 Z press kit paired that roof with six shades, from Ikazuchi Yellow to Everest White Pearl TriCoat, and kept Black Diamond Metallic, Gun Metallic and Rosewood Metallic as one-tone cars. It also listed a dual racing stripe among its port-installed accessories.
| Model year | Factory look, per Nissan |
|---|---|
| 2023 | Six colours with a Super Black roof; three one-tone colours |
| 2025 | Bayside Blue added, plus Pearl White TriCoat and Solid Red over a Super Black roof |
| 2027 | Shinkai Green Pearl Metallic, sold only with the Super Black roof |
The 2027 press kit says the new green was inspired by the S30-generation Z. None of the colours in these press kits is described as matte or satin, so a satin, matte or colour-shift Z is a vinyl job, and so is a black roof over a colour Nissan sells one-tone. The roof wrap page covers that single-panel option.
What Z trim can vinyl change?
The accents Nissan uses to tie the car to earlier Z models. The 2025 specifications list a black “katana” blade styling element above the side windows, a black front grille and body-colour door handles and mirrors, and the press kit names a “Z Bulge” hood and a C-pillar emblem from the first-generation S30.
The NISMO differs. Its 2024 press kit gives it a dark metallic grey katana blade, a black-painted roof and red accents along the lower edges of both fascias, and the 2025 sheet lists black mirrors with a red NISMO strip. Each of those can be matched, kept or covered in a full colour change, so mention any you want left as they are.
How long does vinyl last on a Z’s hood and roof?
Less than on the doors. Flat, sun-facing panels age fastest, and a Z’s long hood and low roof are exactly that. 3M puts Canada in its Zone 2, where its warranty card covers 3M 2080 for 7 years on vertical panels and 2 years on horizontal ones, per the zone matrix.
Which Avery Dennison zone applies to BC hasn’t been confirmed, so ask before you choose between the brands. Garaging the car and hand washing help every panel; how long a wrap lasts in BC goes further.
Has the shop wrapped a Z?
Not one it has photographed. The car in the photos is the shop’s own Nissan 370Z, the model before the current Z, which wears the shop’s green and black livery in vinyl. It shows how wrapped colour and lettering sit on a curved two-door body; the 370Z livery project shows it up close.
How do you book a Z wrap in Langley?
Send the year, grade and current colour, the finish and colour you want, and which trim should stay as it is. A Z with chips or resprayed panels should say so, since vinyl shows what’s under it. If the paint also needs protecting, weigh PPF against a wrap first.
