How is an R1T wrap priced?
By the truck and the job, with no published list price. How much of the body is covered, which film and finish you choose, whether door jambs are included and how sound the paint is all go into the quote.
| Job | How it’s quoted |
|---|---|
| Full colour change | Per truck, by film and finish |
| Partial graphic, like the Bronco pictured | By the panels it crosses |
| Hood, mirror caps, Gear Tunnel doors or tailgate only | By the pieces involved |
| Door jambs | Extra, on request |
The photo is a white Bronco with a black partial graphic, parked outside the shop: a different truck, shown because a partial graphic like this changes an off-roader’s look without a full colour change. Paint condition matters, because vinyl shows chips and deep scratches underneath it.
Can vinyl give an R1T a colour Rivian doesn’t offer?
Yes, and a finish too. Rivian Canada’s R1T configurator has eight paints across the trims: Glacier White and Esker Silver, Half Moon Grey, Midnight, Forest Green and Rivian Blue on every trim, plus Red Canyon and Storm Blue on the Performance and Quad only. No satin or matte option appears.
Vinyl opens up matte, satin, colour-shift, chrome and textured films, in any colour 3M or Avery Dennison makes. The shop’s colour pages, such as matte military green, show what individual films look like and how to care for them, and colour change wraps explains how a full change is planned.
What does the vinyl work around on an R1T?
Panels that move, lights that signal and cameras that see. Between Rivian Canada’s R1T page and the R1T owner’s guide, these are the pieces that shape a wrap:
- Gear Tunnel doors. They open from the app, inside the cab or with buttons on the bed rail, and Rivian says they double as a chair or a step to the roof, so edges there get handled and stood on.
- Light bars, front and rear. They pulse green to show charging and stay green at full charge, so they stay uncovered.
- Cameras. On the driver’s side, 2022 to 2024 trucks have fender, wing and surround view cameras; from 2025 the fender camera gives way to a lane change camera. There are also front cameras and a truck bed camera, and Rivian tells owners not to cover any camera, radar or sensor with film.
- Charge port door. It sits on the driver’s side with its own sensor.
The tailgate has a gooseneck hinge and drops to make a flat load floor with a load-bearing panel, so its edges and hinge area are planned before the film is cut.
Does a wrap stand up to the trails an R1T is built for?
It protects the paint from sun and grime, not from rocks. Branches and gravel can scuff or tear vinyl the same way they would scratch paint, and the repair is a new panel of film. Rivian’s post-trip routine includes checking the fascias for damage before getting back on pavement, a good habit for a wrapped truck too. If stone chips are the worry, the R1T PPF page covers film made for that, and PPF versus vinyl wrap compares the two.
How do you book an R1T wrap in Langley?
For a quote, the shop needs the truck’s year and trim, the vinyl you’re leaning towards, the panels in question and a few daylight photos of the paint. You’ll hear back with a price and dates, and a full colour change naturally takes longer than a single tailgate. Call 604 534 6433 or start on the R1T wrap quote form.
