Kia EV6 PPF in Langley, BC

At a glance

Brookswood Tint's PPF packages for a Kia EV6 start at $850 for Partial Front, using self-healing LLumar Platinum that carries LLumar's 10-year limited warranty. Full Front is from $1,550, Track from $1,900 and Full Vehicle from $4,000. The EV6 is low, at 1,545 mm tall, and its front radar also feeds Kia's Smart Regeneration System, so the film is planned to stay clear of the radar cover.

What does PPF cost for a Kia EV6?

The range runs from $850 (Partial Front) up to $4,000 (Full Vehicle), every package in self-healing LLumar Platinum. These are starting prices; the EV6’s final figure follows its panels, the number of sensor openings in the bumper and the state of the paint.

Package Panels covered From
Partial Front Bumper, forward hood and fender sections, headlights, mirrors $850
Full Front Whole hood, whole fenders, bumper, headlights, mirrors $1,550
Track Package The Full Front panels, A-pillars, a section of roof, rocker panels $1,900
Full Vehicle All painted surfaces and the headlights $4,000

The paint is decontaminated first and corrected where it needs it. Templates are cut by software, and the film is wrapped around panel edges wherever the shape allows; where a bumper can’t be done without a relief cut, you’re shown the spot beforehand. The 10-year limited warranty comes from LLumar, while the shop’s own warranty wording covers yellowing, cracking, bubbling and peeling. The film itself is described on the LLumar Platinum PPF page.

What sits behind the EV6’s front bumper?

A front radar, parking sensors on every trim, and more hardware with the GT-Line packages. Kia’s 2024 EV6 manual shows the front radar plus front and rear corner radars where fitted, and tells owners to keep film, bumper stickers and bumper guards away from the front radar cover.

The EV6 leans on that radar for more than collision avoidance. Its Smart Regeneration System reads the car ahead through the same sensor, and Kia asks that its cover be kept clean and never painted. Kia Canada’s 2025 EV6 specifications list parking distance warning front and rear on the Light, Wind and Land; the GT-Line packages add side sensors, a surround view monitor and parking collision-avoidance assist. Before the job, ask to see the planned film edges around each sensor.

Where will an EV6 pick up chips?

Mostly across the nose, which sits close to the road. Kia Canada gives the 2025 EV6 an 845 mm front overhang, 155 mm of ground clearance and a height of 1,545 mm, so the bumper, the front of the hood and the headlights sit right in the line of grit thrown back by the vehicle in front.

2025 EV6 Lower door and fender trim Width
Light RWD Not listed 1,880 mm
Wind RWD, Land AWD Black door garnish 1,880 mm
Land AWD with GT-Line packages Body-colour door and fender garnish 1,890 mm

Partial Front protects the first strike zone. Full Front PPF carries the film to the windshield so no edge crosses the hood, and the Track Package adds the rocker panels, which matters more on a GT-Line, where that lower garnish is body-coloured rather than black. Every version is 4,695 mm long.

How should a filmed EV6 be washed?

Not at all for the first week, then by hand or in a touchless bay. After that week, the shop’s advice is to keep pressure nozzles away from film edges and to skip brush washes.

Kia’s exterior care section adds two EV6 points. High-pressure spray shouldn’t be aimed straight at the camera, the sensors or the area around them, and the doors should be closed and locked during automatic or high-pressure washing so the charging door isn’t damaged. Film doesn’t change either rule. Washing a car with PPF goes through the routine step by step.

How do you book PPF for an EV6 in Langley?

Send the model year, the trim and any GT-Line package, the colour, and the package you want. The shop checks the paint, prices the film for your bumper and sets the dates. Partial Front is normally finished in a day; Full Front or Track needs a day or two; Full Vehicle needs three to five. Use the EV6 PPF quote form. For the glass, EV6 window tint starts at $260, and EV6 ceramic coating can go over the film afterwards.

Questions about kia EV6 PPF

01Should the GT-Line's body-colour garnish get film too?

It's worth pricing. Kia lists body-colour door and fender garnish with the GT-Line packages, low on the car where wheel spray lands, so ask for those pieces to be included in the quote.

02Will PPF upset the EV6's Smart Regeneration System?

Not if it's kept off the radar cover. Kia says the system depends on the front radar sensor and warns against bumper stickers and similar objects near it, so the film stops short of that cover.

03Is Partial Front enough for an EV6?

For mostly city driving it often is, since the bumper and the forward part of the hood and fenders take most of the hits. Regular highway kilometres make a better case for Full Front, which leaves no film edge across the hood.

04How long does EV6 PPF take?

A single day covers most Partial Front jobs; Full Front or Track runs one to two days, and the whole car three to five.
