Subaru BRZ PPF in Langley, BC

At a glance

PPF for a Subaru BRZ begins at $850 at Brookswood Tint, for Partial Front, in self-healing LLumar Platinum. Full Front starts at $1,550, the Track Package at $1,900, Full Vehicle at $4,000. On the BRZ the bumper is the busy part: Subaru Canada describes side vents in it that send air to the brakes, plus an under-spoiler below, and every one of those openings has to be patterned around.

How much is PPF on a Subaru BRZ?

Anywhere between $850 and $4,000, set by how much of the BRZ you want covered. All four packages use LLumar Platinum, a self-healing film backed by a 10-year LLumar limited warranty; per the shop, it covers yellowing, cracking, bubbling and peeling.

Package From What it covers Where that lands on a BRZ
Partial Front $850 Bumper, hood edge, fender tips, headlights, mirrors The vented bumper, the hood’s front edge, both LED headlights and the small mirror housings
Full Front $1,550 All of the hood, fenders and bumper, plus headlights and mirrors The whole aluminum hood with no film line across it, and both front fenders
Track Package $1,900 Full Front, then the rockers, A-pillars and part of the roof Adds the side sill spoilers, the windshield pillars and the front of the aluminum roof
Full Vehicle $4,000 Every painted surface and the headlights Doors, rear fenders, trunk lid with its ducktail spoiler, and the rear bumper

These are starting prices. The final figure moves with panel complexity and paint condition, because the paint gets a decontamination wash first, plus correction wherever it’s needed. Edges are wrapped where a panel allows; where a bumper opening calls for a relief cut, the spot is pointed out to you first.

Which BRZ panels take the stone hits?

The bumper and the hood’s leading edge, then the sills. The BRZ is low and wide, so the nose meets whatever the car ahead kicks up, and Subaru has given that nose plenty of edges.

Subaru Canada’s 2027 BRZ safety page says “all-new side vents in the front bumper redirect air” to cool the brakes, and the specifications list an aerodynamic under-spoiler on the bumper and an aluminum hood and roof. The exterior page adds side sill spoilers and a ducktail trunk spoiler on a body Subaru describes as having a wider stance.

Each vent and lip is an edge the film must either wrap or be cut around, and that work is reflected in the quote. Behind the front wheels, grit runs along the sill spoilers, which is the zone the rocker panel film and the Track Package reach. Our Fraser Valley winters add gravel to that spray; the winter rock chip guide covers why.

Is Subaru’s own BRZ protection film enough?

It protects one spot. Subaru Canada’s BRZ accessories list includes a clear rear bumper film for “your bumper surface and leading edge”, where bags slide in and out of the trunk, plus a door edge guard kit and an STI door handle cup protector.

Protection Where it goes Who fits it

Door edge guards, door handle cup protector Door edges, handle recesses Subaru accessory
Partial or Full Front Bumper, hood, fenders, headlights, mirrors The shop, in LLumar Platinum
Full Vehicle Every painted panel, front and rear The shop, in LLumar Platinum

None of the accessories touch the front end, where most chips happen. If your BRZ already wears Subaru’s bumper film, say so; Full Vehicle covers that bumper anyway. To weigh up the front options, read partial versus full front PPF.

What changes on a Sport-tech, tS or STI-equipped BRZ?

The rear bumper, the mirrors and any added aero. Subaru Canada fits Reverse Automatic Braking, which works through proximity sensors, to the Sport-tech, and gives the tS proximity sensors too, so those bumpers carry sensors the film pattern has to suit.

The same exterior page says the tS mirrors are gloss black, and that on cars with Rear/Side Vehicle Detection the LED indicators sit on the housing outside the mirror glass. Mirrors are part of every package, so give your grade when you ask. Subaru Canada also sells STI front, side and rear side under spoilers; if yours has them, they’re quoted as extra pieces.

Gloss or matte film on BRZ paint?

Either works on every factory colour. Subaru Canada lists six for 2027: Crystal Black Silica, Crystal White Pearl, Ignition Red, Magnetite Grey Metallic, Sapphire Blue Pearl and World Rally Blue Pearl.

Platinum Gloss keeps the factory shine. Platinum Matte turns gloss paint satin and heals light marks the same way. A satin nose with gloss doors looks unfinished, so a matte BRZ is usually a Full Vehicle job; the matte PPF page shows how it reads.

How do you book PPF for a BRZ in Langley?

Send the model year, grade, colour and the package you want, plus any STI parts or Subaru bumper film already on the car. You’ll get a price built on those details.

Partial Front generally takes a day; Full Front or Track takes one to two days, Full Vehicle three to five. Hold off washing for seven days. From then on, use a hand wash or a touchless bay, aim pressure-washer tips away from the film’s edges and stay out of brush washes. Ask through the BRZ PPF quote form, or call 604 534 6433. If the glass is next, the BRZ window tint page has the coupe package.

Questions about subaru BRZ PPF

01Is Subaru's rear bumper film the same thing as a PPF package?

It covers far less. Subaru Canada's accessory is a clear film for the rear bumper's top surface and leading edge, where cargo goes in and out of the trunk. A shop package covers the front impact zones, and Full Vehicle covers the whole rear bumper as well.

02Do I need to tell the shop which BRZ grade I have?

Yes. Subaru Canada fits rear proximity sensors to the Sport-tech and tS, and gloss black mirrors to the tS, so the grade decides which bumper and mirror pattern the plotter cuts.

03Can a World Rally Blue BRZ go satin with matte film?

Yes. LLumar Platinum Matte gives any of the six 2027 BRZ colours a satin face. For the whole car to match, choose Full Vehicle; a front-only matte job leaves the doors and rear gloss.

04Can STI under spoilers be filmed too?

Yes, if you ask. Subaru Canada sells STI front, side and rear side under spoilers for the BRZ; they sit below the parts a package names, so say which ones are fitted and they're added to the quote.
