How much is PPF for a Tesla Model 3?
Starting prices run $850 to $4,000, set by how much of the Model 3 you cover. Those are opening figures; the curves of its panels and the condition of its paint settle the final quote.
| On a Model 3 | Starting at | Panels |
|---|---|---|
| Partial Front | $850 | Front bumper, headlights, mirrors, and the first part of the hood and fenders |
| Full Front | $1,550 | Partial Front’s coverage, with the hood and fenders filmed in full |
| Track Package | $1,900 | Everything above plus rocker panels, A-pillars and the roof’s front edge |
| Full Vehicle | $4,000 | All exterior paint, headlights included |
Engine or sun heat lets Platinum’s top coat close light scratches. It’s made in gloss and matte, and the pieces come off software templates with edges rolled round each panel where possible; a bumper that calls for a relief cut instead gets it marked out for you first. LLumar’s warranty runs 10 years, limited, and the shop’s terms spell out yellowing, cracking, bubbling and peeling.
What does Tesla’s own rocker kit say about the Model 3?
Tesla doesn’t give a reason, but the kit shows where it chose to add film. The 2017–2023 service manual’s rocker panel retrofit uses two pieces per side: a lower one on the rocker panel, lined up with the rocker’s bottom edge and the rear quarter panel, and an upper one on the quarter panel above it.
The owner’s instructions add two telling cautions: install it when it’s dry and warm, and avoid laying film on the body line between the rocker and the quarter panel, the “dog leg”. That curve is where a flat pre-cut piece has the hardest time staying down.
None of the front-only packages reaches the rockers. The Track Package does, and the Full Vehicle covers the quarter panels too. How rocker film is fitted and priced on its own is on rocker panel PPF.
How is film fitted around the Model 3’s bumper sensors and radar?
The film is planned around each one, and which ones your car has depends on its year. The 2017–2023 manual places six parking sensors across the front fascia, four outer and two inner, numbered S1 to S6, with more at the rear. Cars built with radar carry a front radar sensor clipped to a bracket behind the fascia, reached by taking the fascia off.
The 2024+ manual is different again: it has no parking sensor section, and in October 2025 Tesla added a procedure for a front fascia camera mounted behind a cover in the bumper. Bring the year and trim, or the VIN, so the template matches the bumper on your car. Carmakers’ guidance on film near sensors in general is on EV paint protection film.
Which package fits how you drive a Model 3?
Match the coverage to the roads. A Model 3 that mostly sees city streets may only need a Partial Front. One that commutes on Highway 1 or the Lougheed gets more from the Full Front, which films the hood and both fenders right back to the windshield and leaves no edge across the hood.
If gravel spray down the sides is what you see, the Track Package adds the rockers, the same area Tesla’s kit protects, along with the A-pillars. Weighing a kit against a full install is covered on DIY PPF kit vs professional PPF.
How do you book Model 3 PPF in Langley?
For a quote, list the model year, trim and paint colour, the package you’re leaning towards, and attach photos of existing chips. Book a day for a Partial Front; Full Front and Track Package jobs need one to two days, the whole car three to five. Before any film, the paint gets a decontamination and, where it needs one, a correction.
Book through the Model 3 PPF quote form or by phone or text at 604 534 6433. Tint for the same car is on Model 3 window tint.
